Brand New Retro

The Countryside, Irreverence, David Beckham, James Bond, UKKO and Stoke Park Club - a list of things that are quintessentially British. The latter two a soon to be joined at O2 GolfLive, were also experienced by myself this Friday. As I drove (or more to the point was driven) up the grand and somewhat commanding drive and pulled round in front of the astonishing clubhouse I was reminded of the tradition this place was steeped in. They’ve had scenes from two Bond films there, seeing Connery’s Bond beat Auric Goldfinger on the last (Goldfinger 1964), then again scenes were shot here for Tomorrow Never Dies in ’97. Clad in my UKKO garms which shone in the sunlight that hinted a premature beginning to the Great British summer, (what I like to call ‘Cider Advert Weather’) I bounded up the steps on which Daniel Craig lay dying in the end of gangster film ‘Layer Cake’. All these factors made one thing pretty clear, this was the club that typified what UKKO is about – British perfection, to every last detail. From the manicured greens of Stoke Park, to the finely sewn Merino Wool on the knitwear they add up.

I actually had the chance to play the new course at SPC. Those of you that have played there will know that there are three half-track courses, with the Colt and the Alison (named after their prospective designers) making up the Old Course, then the new nine named the ‘Lane Jackson’. It was a beautiful expedition of modern golf as it should be, with challenging hazards, and narrow fairways to make up for the occasional lack of length. The 2nd and 4th (20th and 22nd in context) were personal favourites the first a short Par 4 but not worth using the Big Dog due to the water-guarded left side, and the latter running along the other side of the river, a reachable par five, yet made a test with well placed bunkers, and a punitively narrow fairway. Modern design, but keeping tradition to a fashionable extent – remind you of anyone?

The second nine was preceded with a Bacon Egg Bap, which was so good English words cannot describe so I’ll resort to French and call it an ‘Arc de Triomphe’. So fuelled with that interlude onwards to the old school nine, and a beautiful one it was. Playing away from the clubhouse, this nine meets golfers with greater numbers on the tee-markers and with it, a sterner test. Personally preferring the Alison and Lane Jackson to the Colt, these nine holes designed by Harry Colt cannot afford to be overlooked. The 5th is a pristine dog-leg left with the most obscurely engaging sand trap complex you’ll ever be likely to see, then there’s the historic 7th, on which the 12th at Augusta National is based.

On that note with the Brits challenging well at Augusta it’s worth to mention again that from the 14th to the 16th of May this year, UKKO will be appearing at the inaugural O2 GolfLive event (http://www.golfliveevent.com/) at Stoke Park Club, with Masters hopeful Ian Poulter appearing alongside Reteif Goosen, Paul Casey and Ryder Cup Captain Monty. Try your best to be their for the union of two brilliantly British golfing establishments.

With the passing of the Vernal Equinox I was sure sun was on the way and after a washout on Saturday, the Sun shone resiliently on Sunday, and the decision was made. It’s time to golf.

It was arrogantly close to summer climes and for perhaps the first time since October it was merely short sleeves on the arms, albeit with the Burgundy Sleeveless Cardigan paired over the top. “Sharp” and “precise” were a selection of comments on the attire worn with slick black suit trousers, ‘Look Good’ – Check – I thought as I stood on the first tee, before realising this was the first time in too long I’d swung my sticks in Keatsian territories. It felt sublime to not be choked with layer, and have the UKKO statement out there plainly. The titanium logo shone in the profound sunlight, as I swung smoother than a Sinatra track, and shorter than Lee Trevino, but hey, it was in play. ‘Play Good’ – Check.

It was a high stakes game of match play in an attempt to win back the loss of the preceding day’s bet after my beloved West Ham United fell short against the Arsenal. The thing is, I’m a firm believer that the best shots a golfer will ever hit - of any level, are the strokes played in near darkness, on a late summer’s evening without a soul seeing it. Which is why my second shot of the day surprised me as the eight iron with a quid-seventy left soared up and nestled nicely next to the hole. The concession was gladly received and onwards to the next. Actually, I started playing well and was pretty surprised with how things were going as the lead increased to three by the 16th tee. The 16th at my track is a lengthy dog-leg right par 4 heavily guarded right and left of the short stuff. Despite needing but a half to reclaim my cash and leave the weekend as I started, the only though in my mind was ‘let the big dog eat’ – so I did as the ball swerved somewhat magisterially from left to right and around the corner which put in the stead needed to win the hole and the match 4&2. Happy days.

Now I mentioned the Sleeveless Cardigan earlier, and came about a revelation at the weekend. After the dress-down day in aid of Sport Relief on Friday and repping UKKO with the ever-pristine threads, I realised something of monumental genius. Firstly, if you don’t have the Burgundy Sleeveless, feast your eyes sharpish before it disappears for Spring/Summer replacement, literally it can be worn with anything trousers, suit, Sunday best, hitting the town, even Jeggings (to clear that up, that’s a joke and any man to wear these or ‘Ugg’ boots are unacceptable members of our species). And secondly, when the merino wool is in your hands wear it with all the buttons done up, bar the top one, looks reams. Enjoy looking good...

Thailand - I love that country. Beautiful country, wonderful people and hot all year round. It's paradise.

The big dog. I had a caddy when I played in South Africa who only let me take driver off every tee. "Let the big dog eat" were his exact words. Since then I've loved to give the driver a rip.

10. Who do you hang around with on tour?
The girls in the VIP tents.

11. (i) How has this season been for you so far?
After a dissapointing start to the season, things are looking up - I narrowly missed out on winning my 1st event as a pro in Spain back in June. It was our biggest event of the season on The Alps Tour. I ended up in 3rd place having led the way for most of the tournament. My 66 in the 1st round was the lowest round of the week and it was nice to be in the mix again.

It's my first season as a pro and so it's a big learning curve for me and like all professions, it takes time to work your way up.

11. (ii) What are your main goals for the remainder of the season?
I would love to have my breakthrough win on The Alps Tour. But my main focus is to prepare well for European Tour Qualifying and Asian Tour Qualifying.

12. Where do you want to be in 3 years?
Living the dream on The European Tour.

13. If golf didn't exist, what would you be doing?
Never given it much thought before - but being a nightclub owner sounds pretty lucrative. Bit random, but the amount they charge you in clubs - it's got to be good money!!

Vanilla Slice - Unorthodox Return to the Fairways

It was all set-up perfectly I pondered, as I looked thoughtfully out upon a suprisingly sun-baked February morning in preparation for the first competitive round since the turn of the decade. Wait, its February and I haven't played golf properly since the year just gone, wow, must be the weather or something. The weather conditions on this Sunday though, were a far-cry from the snow we were treading, and sledging on a mere month ago, although decidedly fresh, the sun offered some comfort as I munched on my bacon sandwich slowing contemplating how the round would go, what score I'd get, and how great it was to be English after the victory the day before. Yet, golf was the order of the day, and the clubs saw a clean, as did the treads, maybe it wouldn't be such a spectacularly poor round after a month out of the game we know and love.

As I slipped on my pristine UKKO garments, and admired each and every thread, I genuinely believed this could be a good start to my golfing year. I stepped out of the door with an air of expectancy about me and breathed in the cool air. Once at the club I realised that there were in fact a catalogue of unfortunate inconveniences surrounding my humble self that could be unfortunate set-backs. After the strains of football the day before I was supported by two gammy knees, a dodgy ankle, as well as a suspect hip, maybe the seemingly perfect scene before was stained by a body less efficient than John Daly before rehab although in fairness visits to the gym during the week to squeeze those extra yards out of the big-dog, and the aforementioned battle in the name of football did serve culprits for the situation.

Cue dramatic turn of events. After the regulation shanks, fats, thins, and many undescribale shots on the range, I found the iota of beauty every man (or woman) to ever don the plus-fours (not necessarily women here), the high draw. Bliss, perfection, any other superlatives you lovely people can muster up, amybe it would be OK, well I let the on-course game take care of that. After the standard pre-match pysche up routine of a chat with playing partners in banteresque scenes complaining, and appreciating sporting results of the day before, I found myself standing on the first tee.

A surprising start to the round started with the seldom seen combination of back to back birdies, before a visit the the timber on the 4th set me back slightly. I managed to get by the rest of the front nine to stay a stroke under the handicap. The back nine duly ensued and after stringing together pars, on the tee numbered 13 I hit a hook curvier than an 80's model into the cabbage, never to be seen again. I just about managed to complete the round unscathed further, and the post-game drink parched the lips on a content golfer, feeling all the swagger in the UKKO threads.

That brings me on to a bit of a tip for golfers one and all. Just because it's cold outside, it doesn't mean you fashionistas, both seasoned and fruitful have to cover up the beautiful garms with the heavy waterproofs and cumbersome jumpers. My advice to you lot would be layer under over the coming cold months, that way your golfing statement can still stand proud atop your torso. Make the investment in a baselayer, wear a thermal vest under that, then I recommend layer over the warmth with a UKKO White Polo and the Berry Longsleeve Cardigan. If that still isn't warm enough, because of the lower neck of the cardi, add the Indigo V-Neck, and defy the weather and maintain fairway style.

Wolf Creek, it looks unbelievable.

In the zone on the putting green mainly so i can get used to the speed of the greens

V-neck Jumper because it is so smart and casual but yet it is also extremely fashionable

A few dirty tactics but not too many

I would most likely be obsessed with Football as i used to play Football when i was younger for a local team but i then started playing golf and i had to drop out of the team to find time to practice my golf.

10. Apart from becoming an UKKO Ambassador, what's your biggest achievement to date?
Playing in the Ian Poulter invitational since i got invited to play there

11. What do you want to be doing in 5 years?
Just finishing university and then hopefully becoming a PGA teaching pro

Stephen has also given us his insight into how to prepare for the upcoming golf season...

Visit an indoor golf facility. Find golf domes online or in the phone book. Domes are heated driving ranges. Some also offer putting and chipping areas.

Put an indoor practice green in your basement. Kits can be purchased at local golf accessories stores or online. Use the extra space in your home to put up a practice net and hitting area. Get use out of your clubs all winter long.

Find a golf facility that offers interactive simulators. Many offer full rounds of golf, playing well known courses from around the world. Practice with your own set of clubs with their screen and sensor equiptment.

Start a golf exercise program at home or with a qualified golf fitness trainer from a local gym. A trainer can help you keep those muscles used for golfing toned and ready to go.

Play a round of indoor mini-golf. While it's not the same thing, it helps keep your putting skills up to par until you can hit the course in the spring.

Take advantage of playing the course even though it's cold. If the course is open, there's no reason to wait. Dress warm and plan on seeing a lot of bare spots, but you can still have fun and get some good practice in.

New Year's Revolution

So here we are in mid-January and already, the chances are the trips to the gym are lessening and you're struggling to find the motivation to pound the pavement. Yet, this is no cry for you to return your gym wear and hang up those dumbbells just yet, instead use all these big plans for entering the new decade to revolutionise your golf game, you can always get better.

There are two ways to win in golf; win, and win in style. Now I'm sure that most of you out there have one of the two components to golfing greatness, I doff my trilby to those of you who win, and maybe do so without the greatest eloquence or flamboyance, but graft out a result, I have the upmost respect for that. Then there is of course the player who plays with the required swagger to fulfil the win in style catergory, but lacks the 'winning' part of the bargain. Fear not the losing or swaggerless golfer! Make the full commitment, and start the decade as you mean to go on!

The ways to do this are simple, and you shouldn't have to change a thing. The first simple step that you should take is enjoy your golf people! Don't get annoyed about it, if you have fun on the course (abiding by the 180 pages of the R&A rulebook, local rules, and etiquette if at all possible, if not just refrain from breaking other people's property) you will play great golf. So now you know that having a good laugh will help you win know you need style. I'm not saying you need to be Seve or Chi Chi Rodriguez but something inbetween would be the swagerrdocio golfer you're looking for. First step is not the 100 yard low fade round the tree, skimming across the burn and rolling up to the short stuff resting 6ft from the target, nah we wouldn't want you to have that shot in your locker, but if it were fair play to you son. The first step is of course a Trip (to the computer) Around (April to purchase) The (greatest clothing in the) World at of course the UKKO store, get your hands on the clobber that will be one step to you playing great golf.

We're proud to be associated with the Solihull College Golf Academy...

Before Xmas we were lucky enough to be selected to provide the 2009/2010 team kit for both years of the Solihull College Golf Academy. They recently had a photoshoot at their home course and the results are below. It's a great first step in our effort to work with and help to develop young golfing talent.

We wish the boys & girls all the best for the coming season and hope they go on to great things as we're sure they will. If their results before Xmas are anything to go by, they're a stand-out bunch of young golfers destined for great futures within the game.

We have no favourites at UKKO, but we did meet Rachel Jennings at the NEC Golf Show - Rachel is a 2nd year on the course who's already competing at the highest level who stands out as a particularly bright prospect in the ladies game. If you read this Rachael, the answer is still "no" to your question of "Can I have a free belt?" !! But I'm sure we'll be sending you a few bits when our ladies range launches in the not too distant future... good luck to you and your fellow students for 2010.

On a personal note, we're particularly jealous they all play off well below 5 and are only 16/17 years old. Add to that they get to play and enjoy golf for 2 whole years and call it studying - if only we could roll the clock back... that Economics A-Level would of been given a wide-berth...

NEC Golf Show Review - at last!

It's been a long time coming but after a busy Xmas & New Year period we've finally got round to posting a few pictures from the NEC Golf Show. It was a great success, we received a load of positive feedback from the trade & customers about the brand and thanks to all of you who bought some gear - much appreciated.

As you can see, the stand looked awesome and we really stood out as a premium brand. Thanks to all that helped, you know who you are...

Is your course snowed under? UKKO Ambassador Tom gives you a few alternatives...

The hardcore few at your golf club will no doubt have turned up at the weekend for that last pre-Christmas round, and - mulled wine in hand - will have been faced with the ironically snow covered sign reading 'Course Closed due to Adverse Weather Conditions'. They will have no doubt, clad in their plus-fours despite the conditions, had to go closer to the sign to actually see what it said, and upon realising the cruel fate of wintry precipitation will have turned round and driven home.
Not is all lost though, putting practise did occur in large proportions in my lounge in front of some ridicolously cheesy Christmas movies on the growingly convienient 'Sky Christmas' channel. But what can us nine iron bearers do in these conditions? Well I've listed some alternatives to real golf:

1. Tiger Woods PGA Tour - I am one of the many not impressed by Tiger's recent antics, I love him. Some substitute for you and him not gracing the fairways is teeing it up on your games console and pulling off ridiculous shot from ridiculous areas and if your old school, you can have Dave Feherty's voice warm your mood.

2. Urban Golf - Anyone who has been to one of their centres will know that it is simply, awesome. Enjoy a drink from the bar while you play, don't worry about covering up your UKKO threads with ridiculous overcoats, and rest your legs as the screen does the walking for you. My favorite venue is Smithfields but the other venues are quality as well.

3. ESPN Classic - The greatest invention this decade, no exceptions. As well as golf highlights, re-live the tears of Italia '90, acquaint yourself with Muhammed Ali's awesome career and re-acquaint yourself with your teams glory days.

4. Read the UKKO blog pages - I've estimated that if your read word-for-beautiful-word all the blog entries, you have too much time on your hands and should be working. However, this will keep you occupied, insighted and laughing for many an hour.

Putts ain't falling all around us, but snow is, so have a staunch Christmas and a great New Year, see you in 2010.

We'd tee it up at Loch Lomond, quality track in a picturesque setting.

Probably the big dog - there's no better feeling than destroying the ball down the fairway!

Probably be a cheeky pint balanced by the energy drink halfway through the round.

It's got to be the Burgundy Sleeveless Cardigan, I love the retro style going on there!

6. Any dirty tactics or squeaky clean all the way?
Despite being notorious in my other sports for playing dirty, when clad in the plus-fours it's all clean.

Sink to my knees and cry - only joking - probably the solitary fist pump and take the pain of buying the first round back inside.

8. 1st & last drink on the 19th?
Kick off with a pint, and finish with half a Jack.

9. To celebrate your win, you fill up the private jet - where do you go?
En-route to the final destination of L.A stop off in Grenada, a truly surreal place.

10. Assuming you don't have a private jet, have a nightmare and lose by the 12th - would you head straight for the driving range or drown your sorrows at the nearest local?
I'm a grafter, I'd be out on the range.

11. Why did you want to become an Ambassador for UKKO?
The threads are quality, and I really wanted to pen my experiences on golf.

12. If you didn't play golf, which other sport would you be obsessed with?
I'm a rugby and football man, but footy would probably take preference if there wasn't a course on the Earth.

13. What would you like to see in the next UKKO range?
I'd love to see some strides in there.

14. Apart from becoming an UKKO Ambassador, what's your biggest achievement to date?
Golfing or something else? Well golfing would be my Autumn Cup performance the season just gone. Non-Golfing, well i just try and make people have a laugh every day really.

New Pro Shop Stockist - KP Club

When we arrived at the KP Club, we immediately knew it was the type of Pro Shop we want to stock UKKO. It's a class act. Making our way up the drive to the top of the hill, we could see the newly re-designed course was in great condition and one look at the clubhouse and you know they mean business.

A contemporary set-up including a bar that reminded us of the Long Bar at the Sanderson Hotel in London, the Pro Shop (run by Aaron & Ashley of Desired Golf) was similarly well styled. It had all of the golf fashion brands you'd expect and we're pleased to say the guys liked our gear so much they took it there & then. That was a few weeks ago and as you can see from the snaps, they've given us a prime spot.

We'll definitely be back up there in the New Year for 18 and even though we haven't played there yet, we can highly recommend the set-up.. the chalets looked ideal for an overnight stay and rumours are there's a Spa on the horizon. Perfect for those hangovers after a night in the Long bar....

Our socks are Hand-Made in England - here's how...

We wanted to provide a range of socks that are pure quality and a little bit different. So, being that we try to produce as much of our stuff in the UK as we can, we started searching for a factory that could produce some socks for us in the UK. Not easy!

But, after months of searching and quality control, we ended up at 1 of only 4 remaining sock factories in the UK near Leicester, and when we got there, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. With so many ordinary socks on the market, we wanted colour, quality and comfort all rolled into one and Robert's factory produces exactly that.

The machinery he has there is quite simply amazing - think Charlie & the Chocolate factory for socks. (See below for pics). Different coloured yarns everywhere, spinning and knitting machines going at it hammer and tong, 24/7. We were transfixed.

Robert has obviously seen this reaction many times - grown men standing there as the wheels and cogs turn around you, taking in yarn at one end and spitting out a finished sock at the other. It's old news to him, but you could still see his enthusiasm for what he did. He has some old-fashioned machines and some state-of-the-art... which is exactly how we like it. Traditional methods to produce modern garments.

Not only that, but after his machines have done their bit, he sends them all to another local factory to get the toes hand-linked. So the time and effort that goes into each and every one of these is exactly why you can't get better in the UK. And you can trust us when we say they're comfy.. man they're comfy.

So, when we dragged ourselves away, we chose 3 excellent lines of socks to complement our range.

Multi stripe socks - For the guy who like to show off. (Usually us)

Contrast socks - For more conservative guys with an edge

Check sock - Iconic style for the more traditional golfer.

All machine washable, and all 90% Pure New wool for comfort and a hint of Nylon to make them last longer.

Shoal Creek, Birmingham, Alabama - A real gem of a course. It's hosted 2 USPGA major championships and is the best course I've ever played. I used to play it every Friday morning for qualifying at the University of Alabama - Birmingham.

I'd take them for a night out in Cardiff.

Well im making a healthy fish curry tonight made with fresh cod fillets, low fat greek yoghurt, curry powder, sweetcorn, and brown rice. The ingredients sound random but they fuse together nicely.

8. Your private jet is on the tarmac and ready to fly - where d'you go?
Thats easy....Orlando, Florida! Its my favorite place in the whole world! There are brilliant golf courses, great weather, nice people, superb hotels, what more do you want!!??

9. Which club's first in your bag?
My Taylormade R9 Driver. My driving has always been a weak point in my game, but since I got this new weapon it has gone from strength to strength.

10. Who do you hang around with on tour?
I travel with 3 other guys from Wales, Ryan Thomas, Iwan Griffiths, and Cennydd Mills. Myself, Cen, and Ryan have been travelling together for years but Iwan is a new addition to the team. We all have plenty of banter and take the mick out of each other constantly. You have to be pretty thick skinned to handle the abuse that we dish out to each other.

11. How has this season been for you so far?
2009 has been good. I have done a lot of work on my game since I turned pro in 2007 but now it is starting to come to fruition. I am confident that I can compete well at European Tour School this year as it is everyones ticket to starting earning a nice living.

12. What are your main goals for the remainder of the season?
My goals are to stay focused on my tasks and not try to hard. I tend to be a perfectionist with my game so I am trying to stay in the present and make the best score possible rather than hitting perfect shots.

13. Where do you want to be in 3 years?
I want to have a European Tour win to my name.

14. If golf didn't exist, what would you be doing?
I wish I knew the answer to that question because I have asked myself it on many occasions!

On the Edge - Cleeve Hill GC, August 09

Buckets of rain, wind, cold & sheep sh*te... it must be a British August. Far from the best course we've played but well up there for the best views. The Par 4 13th green (pictured) is set in an old Roman fort about 1000ft up in the Cotswold Hills... historic. Luckily we had a 100% Pure Merino wool UKKO tank under the waterproofs to keep us warm.

As the Europro tour reaches a thrilling climax we thought it only fair to review the chances of our top tour pros. As our UKKO tour pros hit top form we preview the next few venues to see how our guys will fair in their attempt to claim that prized top spot.

One of our budding tour pros is Ben Jones, who plays his golf out of Cuddington Golf Club in Surrey. Ben turned pro in 2005 following a successful amateur career and has been making waves in recent months on both the Europro and Jamega tours with some standout performances.

Ben looks forward to the upcoming events on the Europro Tour and a brief review about the courses;

Marriott Tudor Park – 4th – 6th August 2009
This is quite a short course so can see the scoring being quite low for it. I’ll have to make sure my short game is firing on all cylinders if I’m to get a good result for this tournament. The course has been a regular on the professional circuit and I’ve always been impressed with the condition of the fairways and greens.

UK golf breaks are available at Tudor Park including dinner, bed & breakfast and two rounds of golf from just £84 per person.

De Vere Venues Wychwood Park – 11th – 13th August 2009
Wychwood Park is a really decent course and I always enjoy testing myself round this course. The course measures over 7,000 yards off the tips so driving the ball well round here is vital to scoring well. Although it’s quite a new course (built in 2002), it is a superb tournament venue that will no doubt go on to hold lots of professional tournaments over the years.

Golf breaks are available at Wychwood Park for just £89 per person including dinner, bed & breakfast and two rounds of golf.

Formby Hall Golf Resort – 19th – 21st August 2009
I was really pleased when I saw this on the tournament schedule, the course has played host to the Challenge Tour previously and I’m sure it will be a great venue for us. I’ve played a fair bit in Southport previously and although I enjoy links parkland layout at Formby Hall should be perfect for my game. I’ll be expecting a good finish here.

Five Lakes Golf Resort – 26th – 28th August 2009
The complex at Five Lakes is really impressive. I’ve played here lots of times over the years and the course is always in fantastic condition. They can really grow the rough up in places so keeping it straight off the tee is really important if you are to be in contention in the final round, it’s vital to know when to focus on accuracy over length.

Golf holidays are available for just £79 per person including dinner, bed & breakfast and two rounds of golf.

Fairmont St Andrews = 7th – 9th October 2009
Located about 10 minutes from the town of St. Andrews itself, although the courses there are fairly new the golfing turf they enjoy is centuries old. From the onset it has a traditional links feel with some of the best greens I’ve ever played on. The course has some really good holes and I’m really looking forward playing this event and spending few days in St. Andrews.

St Andrews golf breaks at Fairmont St Andrews start from just £129 per person including accommodation and two rounds of golf.

His T5 placing follows on from an impressive runners-up spot at the inaugural 66 ProTour event at Berkhamsted a couple of weeks ago. UKKO launch kicks off with Sir Geoff Hurst

On Wednesday 1st July we sponsored one of our first events, the LINC charity golf day at Lilleybrook Golf Club, an Alistair MacKenzie designed course on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

LINC - The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund - is a Cotswolds based charity and a worthy cause as we're sure you'll agree.

We were also lucky enough to be playing with the legendary England footballer Sir Geoff Hurst which was a fitting way to launch our British brand.

Info - All you need to know about our unique titanium logo

So this is one of the reasons we differ from the other brands out there;

Most have a standard stitched logo on their clothes, but we wanted to give you something a bit different... and after months of research and testing, we came up with a logo that's made entirely from Titanium metal. Nice.

We then hand-stitched it onto all our fine merino knitwear and brushed cotton polo's with a bright contrast stitching to give you one of the most distinctive logo's on the market.

We also feel it highlights our attention to detail as Michael our designer explains;

"We didn't want our brand to be just another embroidered logo on the racks and I wanted to create a strong identity that would make us stand out from our competitors. Of course it had to look good and have a golf theme too, so we looked at the best clubs in the world, how they're made and thought that using a premium metal - titanium - as our logo would be pretty cool... and it's fine at 30 degrees too..."

Which is an important point - a few people have asked us whether the logo is ok in the wash. We know where you're coming from, but believe me, we've done the testing to prove it's absolutely fine on all of our garments and can be washed at 30 degrees without a problem. It's basically just like a large zip but as it's made from titanium, it's really light and is rust free.
